The New York Post is reporting that NBCUniversal is keen to retain rights to WWE programming on SyFy and USA channels and as a sweetener to encourage WWE to stay, they are considering funding a physical WWE Hall of Fame building at Universal Studios theme park in Orlando.
WWE are believed to be asking a much higher rate to stay, some reports suggest double what Universal pay them now.
WWE, in a statement, said, “WWE is the hottest property on cable and a proven ratings juggernaut. However, we are in an exclusive negotiating window until the end of next week
