The Mega Powers, greatest super power duo of all time, I grew up during this tremendous era, having Hulk Hogan teaming up with Randy Savage was an unbelievable draw for the WWE, "the handshake" the night Hogan and Macho joined forces was and still is the second highest rated WWE show in history only second to the Hulk Hogan vs Andre match for the WWF title on Saturday Nights Main Event. When Hogan and Savage were advertised to team, no matter what town they were in, it was something special. The Mega Powers were originally planned to be together about a month or so but they were so huge as a team Vince kept them a unit for months, occasionally giving them solo matches so then WWF champion can defend his title. I don't think in today's era we will ever see two top main event draws team up and be as big as the Mega Powers were. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan? Great superstars in their own right but they can't touch the kind of magic Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan had. Yeah it can be disputed but it's hard to dispute a fact..... Mega Powers 4 Life!
