WWE rumors: Ric Flair to return full-time?

Ric Flair has an offer that’s been on the table from WWE to return as a full-time character on television.  He is scheduled for a cardiovascular physical before the company uses him.
Flair is working out to get his weight down to 225 pounds to get himself in better physical shape for his return.
For those fans groaning at the possibility of the 65 year-old retired wrestler lacing up the boots again, not to worry. The discussed plans call for Flair being a manager for a young talent.
But who?
Talk is that he could be paired with The Miz to elevate him back to a top star in the company, but some believe it would be a waste of his services to work with Miz.
Reportedly, Ric Flair himself has requested to manage Dolph Ziggler, but WWE hasn’t pushed him lately despite him being on tv consistently, unlike the Miz.
Personally, I’d love to see The Miz receive a big push again because I was a big fan of his during his widely forgotten WWE title run, culminating with him headlining WrestleMania 27 against John Cena. He got lost in the shuffle with the angle between Cena and The Rock but to me, Miz was one of the best talkers in the company and tons of heel heat, despite not being the greatest in-ring performer. Ric Flair could be another shot in the arm that Miz needs to get back to that version of himself.
As for Ziggler, he has all the raw tools to be a top star, but WWE doesn’t seem to want to push him.
Regardless, Ric Flair returning full-time is sure to boost initial ratings, and hopefully elevate whoever he works with. Who can imagine an angle between Flair and his guy vs. Paul Heyman and one of his guys? That would be sports entertaining.
